2019: ‘Intuition’ and ‘Wink for Man Ray’ was featured at SNBA Carrousel Du Louvre Gallery, Paris. Intuition is a painting created with electric paint that has a soundscape built into it. By touching secret areas you activate 1 of 12 tracks that play an experimental sound landscape while you view the painting. . The viewer touches the image in various locations to play the soundscape that is embedded. An Arduino computer acts as a mp3 music player and plays back the sound once activated.
Wink for Man Ray is an Homage to the late great Surrealist Man Ray. A reinterpretation of his Metronome with eye attached piece, made in the 1920s, nearly 100 years ago. This is a Metronome with a lenticular eye attached, which has an illustrated, animated winking eye. When the Metronome moves from side to side, the eye animates and winks at you. Both works were received with great praise and amusement. The Metronome, sometimes so loud, would read havoc in the gallery, clicking all day long and heard from end to end.
